The 500gb external drive was getting close to full so i bought a tetra drive.
i wanted to move all the files over to the tetra but vista said no it said 2750 days to do so!
so there are 9 folders, i copied them one at a time to the internal drive and then copied them to the tetra drive.
all the folder sizes are correct as is the number of files/folders in each.
but the old drive has 342GB where as the new drive has now 336gb of files.
yes i defragged them both and both are NTFS
why the different sizes of total amount?
