Save to Flash Drive? Help!!!!!

I have Vista Home Basic. I want to back up the contents of my D (Data) Drive. I have never done this b4 but feel comfortable with the process. I have been looking for the option of WHERE want to save the file to (which would be Flash Drive), but cannot find one- a screen comes up saying (by default?) that it will be saved to another drive. A couple of years ago I experimented trying to save files--maybe this is why D drive is coming up as to where to Save to. Help!!! Thank you in advance.

Is there a "browse" button/tab in the window?

Well when you insert your flash drive you normally get the message what do you want to do with this drive, View files, play with WMP, View pictures etc, you could forget that if you want to.

You goto your D: drive and select the files/folders you want to copy to your flash drive then right-click on the files and select Send To then flash drives drive letter should be shown on there.
