Booting Problem

I have a Windows Vista home 64 bit dell studio xps computer. Just this morning, I went to turn it on, and it did not start normally. After the what I assume to be the bios loading screen is (The first image that pops up on the computer when you turn it on, it says press f2 for setup and f12 for boot options) a screen comes up that says "windows failed to start properly, would you like to: Launch startup repair or start windows normally. Either option leads to a windows loading bar with no windows logo above it. If I let this run for 5 minutes or so, the computer bluescreens (the one that talks about how a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer... followed by a long Stop: 00000.. number ).

I also tried starting in safe mode, but everything is loaded up to this lineLoaded: \windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys. After this line, it freezes. The computer came with a cd with windows vista on it and I tried booting off of that, but the computer loads into the same screen about how it could not load windows.

The only problem the computer seemed to be having before that was that it would blue screen if it sat idle for to long a time. When it started being on for the 2 day range, I would wake up and have the computer at the user screens when I know I had left it on.

The installation cd is the one that says "Operating System, Already installed on your computer, reinstallation cd". I tried booting to that cd and all that happens is the whit bar loads across the screen saying "windows is loading". Once it finishes, the same loading bar appears with no windows logo above it. If I press f8 to get to the screen where you can load safe mode and press repair, it just goes to the windows bar.

Much of it wabacked up just recently, the only thing is there is some music that I have not yet backed up. If that is salvageable that would be great but otherwise I'm not against a clean format.
