Go to devices and printers (possibly device manger in Vista) and make sure that there are no yellow markers by printer driver
. Make sure that the printer is recognized aand that drivers
If they are not download the proper driver from the website. Download to your desktop
Turn off internet, unattach the printer. Do not attach until told to do so
Then reboot and it should work
Be sure that you are using the corrrect driver and it is the most up to date.
Go to the vista compatibilty center and make sure that your printer is comptible with Vista.
Be sure that you have all the Vista SP2s, 2.
