Hello Hymanjr amd welcome to the forum. Can you give us a little more info about your system.
When did you first notice this problem and do you know what you were doing at the time it happened but it is ok if you don't remember it just helps us when we know certain things.
Have you thought about doing a system restore setting. If so you should make sure that you restore at least 5 days before you noticed the problem, this a lot of times can correct the problem. Don't do a full restore.
With everyone do you know when was the last time you did a full AV if not you should do one and also download and run a full malwarebytes test also.
Hello, americancritic and thanks for the reply. After two days of off and on trying to get rid of this error I found that if I just disabled Windows Defender in the control panel my problem was solved.

I am glad your back up and running. I hope you have another AV installed and download malwarebytes and run a full scan also just be safe and rule out malware possibilitys.
