My laptop was having problem with the indexer not working so I decided to restore everything back to factory setting. After the reboot, it tells me that Windows cannot complete installation and now it is stuck in the reboot loop....does anyone know how I can go about fixing this problem? Thanks.

Can you give us a little more info on your computer, such as the name of your os, and what did you do to try and do a factory restore or was it a system restore.

I have the Sony vaio with vista home. To restore, I went into BIOS and chose the vaio restore wizard(?) and just let it ran through the restoration on its own. I think it is a factory restore and not system :/

Hi richc46, yes, that's exactly what I did and now windows won't complete installation and stuck in reboot.
