installing codec pack

can you tell me that installing codec pack in computer is safe?

do we do that?

The codec itself should not be the problem. The site may contain virus or other surprises.
Test first with this
VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner
Then make a system restore point, in case the codecs are unsatisfactory.
I cannot guarantee anything with a download, but if you want the codec from a unknown site this will be the safest way. Its your computer and your decision.

You must be patient when posting. We have many members in different time zones and different schedules than yours. Threre are, also, other members who require help.

But if you install VLC player you have many codec,s, so K-Lite codec pack its not needed in fact.
