Help! My Windows Display is suddenly stretched out

Hi there,

The other day I turned my computer on and the screen was all stretched out. I've tried everything, I went to the monitor settings to ensure they were set correctly and I did a system restore three times, but it would only let me restore to certain points. I've attached a screen shot image, so I hope this helps. And, I hope you can help me!

Thanks!

Rebecca

Welcome to the Forum.

I also agree with Kesume that you need a updated video driver.

Also check to make sure that you are using a native screen resolution and that the Colors depth is set to 32 bit.

This tutorial may help you if needed.

Are you using a nvidia card? If so then check on the NVIDIA Control Panel, Display, Adjust desktop size and position and ensure it is set to Use my displays built in scaling.

Your scren size is most important, but I don't think its drivers....

try click on maximize button of your explorer. and see if everything fine.

let me know the result.

Still looks like its a normal wide screen setting.

I'm wondering if ie9 widened out the page, and with the 3 toolbars it just looks it.

I Am in totally agreement with Patonb that in screen shot screen looks like normal.

What you do just click on maximize button of your explorer and your browser takes all over the scree.

Thanks
