The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with

I turned the computer on this morning, & when I opened Task scheduler, the following pop up appeared:

"The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with .VideopadShakeIcon"

I have been looking through similar posts in this forum, but I can`t find one that has exactly the problem with Videopad in particular. I do have Videopad installed, but has never given me any problems. I`m not sure what has changed, as I haven`t scheduled a new task on task scheduler for quite a while.

I`d appreciate any help!
Thanks in advance:D

I was all ready today to do a system restore, but I decided to open task scheduler again, & the pop up message is not appearing anymore. Hopefully, it just sorted itself out.

I`m still having problems with my task scheduler, certain tasks seem to fail to be triggered. This has been going on for a while, particularly with ccleaner, Windows disk cleaning, spybot. But should I start a new thread about this better?

Thanks

Hello

I think I would do a full AV scan using your security, plus I would download and run a full scan using malwarebytes, just to rule out that you do not have a virus or malware on your computer.

Malwarebytes

Thanks for the advice. I do have Malwarebytes, & use it all the time, so & I`m performing a full scan at the moment. Just finished scanning with Ad-aware, & my antivirus is Kaspersky, & it`s performing a full scan as well.
Thanks! :D

Finished doing the full scans, & everything seems to be alright. Nothing harmful was found. But I did look at Kaspersky`s logs, & apparently I had a virus attack on monday that was neutralized, so I wonder if it had something to do with the pop-up.
Thanks again for the advice!:)
