help resetting laptop to factory settings

hi all this new to me and im looking to reset my laptop to factory settings. my lpatop is running slow and slugish if anyone can help me to do this plz help

i would like to basically
boost performance speed and reset settings to an earlier stage.
for example the mouse wont click on certain things on screen but will with others. if this makes sense

May I suggest that before we reset to factory settings (its a pain, you have to reinstall all your programs, updates, settings etc), may I suggest a few possible solutions to your problems.
If it were my computer, I would start with a full anti virus scan and then download and run a full scan with malwarebytes. I would then follow the tutorial that I gave you.
If you prefer to go back to factory specs, it seems that with your computer it is either rapidly hitting either f10 or f 11 at boot. Try both and see which works.

I think that is a wise decision. We may have to go with factory settings, but then you have a lot of work after that. All your programs have to be reinstalled, updates and settings have to be changed to.
First update your anti virus and make a full scan
Then download and run malwarebytes update then make a full scan. Each one should take about a hour or more. Much less you did not make a full scan.

Run the two scans. If they find virus report back to us. If its clear, let us know then we go to the next step.

When the scans are done, they will tell you if any virus are found. Just run the two scans, one at a time. You will see it all then.

full system clean up can anyone help

hi again i was getting instruction from richc. i wanted to reset my computer as it was running very slow and messed up. i ran a full scan with malwarebtes and want to know were the next step is many thanks
