Window resizing glitch?

Hi everyone. I have this glitch when I resize my windows. Normally when I resize them by dragging the edges, a thin dotted line marking how big or small the next window size is gonna be, will appear. Well, mine looks like this-

Any ideas what caused this?

My laptop specs are:
Vista Home Premium x64 SP2
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8700 @ 2.53GHz 2.53GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS
4.00GB RAM

Thanks

Sounds as if your screen is not refreshing after you have done the resize.
Try updateing your drivers fromthe NVIDIA website or downgrading them if you have just upgraded.
This can be caused by many things.
How many programs have you got running when this happens?
Does it happen all the time?

This problem just sorta appear when I got on my laptop one day. Tried to resize a window and instead of the normal dotted line when I dragged the edges this thick ugly one appeared instead (though the window resizes fine).
And this happens all the time since then (even shifting restore down windows) with or w/o programs running.

Though I didn't update my NVIDIA drivers before since the day I bought my laptop. Alright I'll try updating them. See if that fixes it.

Thanks

Ok. I went to NVIDIA website for a driver version scan and it referred me to my laptop manufacturer (Sony ESupport) site for any new versions, and they weren't any. I tried updating with Device Manager, and it says my driver is up to date (which I've never updated it since day 1).

What should I do now?

Thanks

P.S. The Roll Back Driver button is grayed out & not clickable
