Windows 7

Hi folks:

I'm considering switching to Windows 7 and I have a couple of questions.

a) Is MS Office 2007 totally compatible. I have about 1,000 pages of documents all produced using the WP in Office 2007 and I have to edit them. Will they copy from my disks to W7?
b) Is W7 compatible with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader?

I have run the compatibility check and am informed that my computer and files can be transferred. It's just that I don't really trust Microsoft. I'm always waiting for the little message that tells me I have to lay out another couple of hundred bucks if I want everything to work seamlessly.

I would invest for an external hard drive > copy the files you want to keep to it before you upgrade to Win 7.

External hard drive nowadays is quite inexpensive. Under $100 will land you a pretty good one. Besides, you'll need it for regular files backup, and system image backup anyway, right ?
