Please help

Need Help,

I have laptop with Vista Ultimax64 Business, after the update which was "service pack 1" had to restart, then it gave me black screen, i tried to repair but did not work, then i inserted the recovery disc which i had aside from preinstaled softeware and tried safe mood and restore to previous date , however the only date it shows is the time it updated to service pack1, and after runing the repair and restore system did not work , i had tried this previously few months ago and every thing worked out perfectly, does any one know how to fix this matter and so i can save my data which are very important to me and have not backed them up.

Since your chief concern is your stuff, lets try to save that first. After your stuff is saved we can try to fix the computer without worry about all your files and pics that are so important to you
