Hi, when entering the safe mode menu, I can't use my keyboard. I just have to wait the 30 seconds until it boots normally. As a matter of fact, pressing F8 doesn't seem to be able ot get me into the menu. I have to turn off the computer while booting so it goes there on next startup.

At first I thought it was because I used a wireless keyboard, but I tried it with a wired USB keyboard and it still doesn't work.

It would be my feeling that if you are using a USB keyboard try a PS/2 keyoard.
Safe Mode loads fewer device drivers,
and USB wouldn't be supported.

I found a PS/2 keyboard, and what do you know...those things still have a use! It worked, thanks. Is this the way it is for all motherboards? Or is it some models. Because I can't imagine that "safe mode" requires the pretty much outdated PS/2 keyboards.

Thing is, Safe mode means mimimum drivers and PS/2 requires no drivers or a mimimum, at most.. I took a guess and we lucked out. Im glad for you.
