!floppy drive not working!

Hi,
I just stumbled accross some old floppy disks with personal information stored on them so i tried to install a floppy drive that i just had laying around into my computer... It shows the floppy drive under my computer but when i put one of the disks in it says PLEASE INSERT DISK INTO DRIVE A
Any ideas???

Go to search
type device manager
In device manager update any drivers with yellow warning markers.
Update your driver for the floppy drives

hmmmm odd all of the drivers are up to date according to windows...

Forget what Windows says, get floppy driver from the website.

I tried and it wont work... I am just so Pissed off that i cant get my files back! please excuse my french...
