I just discovered that I had this app. on my computer (after about 3 years). The tutorials are a bit sketchy. All I'm trying to do is make a slid show of still pics with an original song of mine is playing. I've figured out how to get the song and pics into the app. but can't seem to make the video end with the audio. I guess I need to learn how to use the Timeline. I'd also like to have the title and my name after Directed by....or disable that part altogether. I want to post it on my facebook page, and I can give a description after it's uploaded. I've been going to Tools and using the AutoMovie option. Is there a better way? I'm sure what I'm trying to do must be very simple. Thanks in advance.

I'm not totally clear on what you want... do you mean you want audio playing over a video and it wont? Please clarify that. You should be able to edit/add titles via Tools -> Titles and Credits, is that what you mean? You can also right-click on titles already in your timeline/storyboard and there should be an edit option there. Personally I've never used the AutoMovie option, so I don't know anything about that.

I can get the audio to play and the slide show to work but don't know how to end it. IOW, the music stops and pics keep going. How do I get them to end at the same time?

Um then your music isn't long enough. You need to either delete the pictures that continue after the music stops, of find more music to add to the slideshow at the point where the first music ends. And if the added music goes on longer than the rest of your pics, you can either split the audio track at that point or put you mouse at the end of the music track (it will change to a double red arrow) and drag it left to however short you want it. Is that what you mean?

The length of the music is set...one tune, about 4:00...so I just need to remvoe the pictures where the music ends?

Ya pretty much. Or add another song to play for the rest of the pics after the first one ends. I don't see how you could force the music to go on longer than it does... although if you can figure out how to make it go longer you'll become famous for defying all the laws of the universe haha. You could also make the pictures have a shorter duration and that way you may be able to get them all onto the 4 min song, but I don't know what you're trying to do and depending on how long they're already set to and how many extra you have and any transitions you have and stuff like that it may ruin whatever effect you're trying to achieve if the pics go by too fast.
