Hello,
I have had to do a system restore back 14 days.
Everything is now ok with the exception of a dialog that pops us saying "Invalid curser handle", is this important and if so how do I correct it Thank you
Any help would be appreciated

Hello jaysto,
I was looking around and i found some info. that indicates it may be a driver issue, can you check in Device Manager and check your drivers for issues ? You hopefully will not see any with a yellow caution symbol, Please post back what you are seeing there, and we will go from there.
Edit: There is a program that may very well work, i just remembered it, It you would like to try this, go here to read about it and to get instructions on how it works, i have used this for an issue before and it did in fact repair my issue .
It is called scan now , and it runs off the command prompt, here is the tutorial link.. ( i would give this a shot if i were you ) http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html

Hello yard dog
thank you for your reply I have checked in the devise manager for yellow exclaimation marks ect. I also opened all the plus signs to expand and nothing untoward there.
The bonus at the moment is it does not seem to affect the running of the laptop.
The other little problem on the restore was, the enet tray this. also is not working correctly.
Thank you for your help
Jaysto oh by the way the laptop is an Acer Aspire 5920

Well, good for drivers being good, seems as if a more senior member will have to offer some advise for you as i am stuck as to what to have you do to fix the pop up dialog box you are seeing. Check your email often for a reply from another member please, i am sure someone has an answer for you. I will be watching also to learn from this . Thanks again for posting the issue at this forum.
Edit: Try this: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html

Post back if this worked for you

Hello Yard dog,
Thank you for your reply, no success yet for the invalid curser handle but acting on your advice I ran the scannow suggestion this has not removed the enet tray diolog box either.
I have had success with scannow my wifi connection, this is now working, this was not the case before the scan I was having to use the ethernet cable link.
Thank you for your help.

If you read my link, you will have full intsructions. It is merely a way to prevent many applictions and software from starting at boot. If you do not have the problem, you put back a few at a time. When the problem is seen again, the program that you just started is the cause and we go from there.
