Hi, I am having a problem with my files, recently i downloaded from my energy supplier a copy of my quaterly bills they are stored in my folder, upon trying to open them from the folder i double click a file up come a notice which has run or save i click run then the usual happens as if it will open but then it reverts back & the file dissapears. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What's the file extension for the file? If it doesn't show in Explorer see this tutorial to make them visible:
