Hello everyone,
I have an HP Touchsmart tx2 running vista 64. I had tried to fix a problem with the keyboard not being activated after rotating the screen back into keyboard mode. I had read online to unplug the computer and hold the power button on for 30 seconds then re-plug it. I did this, and the Startup repair screen appeared trying to fix whatever problem there was.

It has gone into the command prompt window saying the following:
BFSVC: BfspCopyFile<C:Windows\boot\PCAT\nl-NL\bootmgr.exe.mui,\\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolume1\Boot\nl-NL\Bootmgr.exe.mui> failed! <Attempt ... of 60> Last Error 0x45d
It attempts 60 times, then asks me to finish. When the computer is started, it goes through the same thing again.

I have tried booting in safe mode by holding F8, but get repetitive beep, and blank black screen.

I have no backup disks or anything like that.

I'm very limited in my understanding of windows...could anybody help...PLEASE!!! this is my work computer...

Thanks for your time.
