Solved "No Battery Is Detected"

After my 3rd reboot in my laptop (windows vista), it can't detect the battery on anymore. It charges perfectly but it shuts off as soon as i unplug the wire. Can someone help please :D.

If it is fully charged & how do you know? Does it power up off the battery at all?

Do you have any "Battery management" software on the PC?

Other than to say, it sounds like a dead battery! Not sure where else to go.

In addition to Lottie's questions, which you failed to answer , what is the make and model of this computer, maybe someone can help out on trouble shooting this for you. Post some more info please.

Please download the file SysSpec.exe to your desktop.
Click SysSpec.exe and after the window opens,
click File in the Menubar and then Save to SCV.
This will open a Save as window.
Click to the left of the window on the Desktop icon.
Type in the text box below (after Filename) Brand
Then click Save.
There is now a file named Brand.csv on your Desktop.
Now click Brand.csv, and press CTRL + A, the text is now highlighted.
Then press Ctrl + C, the text is now copied.
You can then paste the text in your next post by pressing CTRL + V,
so we get more information about your PC.

Vista is just an operating system not the make/model of your computer. Something like a dell inspiron would be part of the system information and even that isn't enough. All computers (with the exception of custom built systems) are referenced by the manufacturer (in our case Dell); the make would be inspiron and then there is a specific model number assigned to it by the manufacturer.
