I bought an alienware several years ago and just now deciding to use the FREE windows 7 upgrade I got with it but it seems the site windows7upgradeoption - Bing doesn't work.. I got a free upgrade pin with it and was wondering if I can still somehow use it. If not, this is going to be highly frustrating seeing as windows 7 in 80$ if you buy it from the site.

The upgrade should work, unless the offer had a time limit imposed. If you have a key number with 25 numbers/letters and each group of 5 numbers separated by a dash, it sounds like a valid key. Call the computer manufacturer and see if the number is still valid, if it is they will be able to help. If they say its valid, but cant help try to borrow a Seven install DVD and try to install with your key; good luck.

If all else fails call Alienware which i believe is owned by DELL now, DELL has great tech support call them up and see what is going on.
