1st of all sorry if I am on the wrong part of the forums
Compaq CQ40 vista black screen 32 bitI have a problem booting my laptop, it starts normally but when it reaches windows it turns black.
-although sounds are fine(you can hear the sound when windows start)
-power, keyboard lights are on
-keyboard and mouse is working(since i remember the placement of shortcuts on desktop and it still works)
-i tried using another monitor but it turns black too when it reaches windows
-when i use safe mode it will never reach windows.
im not sure if it is rellated but my laptop was struck with Win32.Sality.NBA virus so I dont know how damaged my laptop is...

safe mode will stop at the last 2 sec of the vid...
i even waited for 2 hours and ran out of battery but it still wont start.
