Hi folks, My restore points keep disappearing every few day's. I have ran a full antivirus scan, full malwarebytes scan, came up clean, I have enough space on the hardrive, Ran sfc /scannow, disc error scan, no problems, and i do not have XP has i have read with XP dual boot could cause this problem, I am able to do a manual restore point but after a day or so that disappeares,I do have the discs and did a system repair but after 3hrs and another two hrs of updates the problem is still there,I do have my files and programs backed up to an external hardrive and was going to do a factory restore, any suggestions before i go that route, HP premium 32-bit, Thank you

Hi Rich, Thanks for your reply, As for the space on hardrive, i have plenty i know by default it takes 15% so i went with Brinks excellent tutorial and lowered it to 3gb, but after i was having this trouble to play safe i raised it to 6gb still they disappeared, I do have norton antivirus, and i know to do a system restore you have to un-tick tamperproof in setting or norton will not let you do a system restore, I think i will look a little deeper into norton, norton could be the problem, i will let you know how i make out, Thanks again, Patch41
