I read the message about giving as much info as possible. Not being able to get to a start button I don't know how to give much more than I will provide now.
The computer will not log on to my Windows Vista Page. It's a dell and the vista is a vista business model. My son gave it to me.
Here is what happens when I try to log in. I am taken to a black screen telling me I have tow options. One Launch a repair program, and start as usual / normal.
The repair launch is the recommended one. I have used both, but all roads lead back to launch repair. So, when I start this program I am taken to an other user. I don't think I have another user profile on there.
I think my main problem is I can't get to a Start button. The message I get when I try to launch the other user profile is " The specified domain either does not exsest or can not be connected.
