Hello yvesj and welcome to the forums

The hard drive and CPU that you use will work regardless of the RAM you have (be it DDR3 or DDR2). You just have to make sure that your CPU is the same socket as your motherboard and that your motherboard supports the type of RAM you go for. Post your specs and we can have a look over them for you :)

so i want to use the secound computer brand new .
put the new board in and the other 2 parts in .
now the gardrive in it is a wd 750 black a really good one .
really my cpu is good for the ddr2 board here is what it is [amd athlon 11x2 270 .
so i could use it and not buying the one i send you the link or name .
so i will have a faster computer ddr2 plus a ddr3 in the same computer .
so why build a complite new pc from the case up at least 800.00 in parts

The mobo you specify doesn't support DDR3. I'm confused because you talked about using both DDR2 and DDR3 on the same mobo. I don't think you can do that.

In addition, using Vista 32 bit (or any 32 bit OS) limits you to 4 Gb of RAM. To go higher, you would need a 64 bit OS. Note that the mobo you specify has a 8 Gb limit.

I can't comment on the mobo except to say it supports both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM. DDR3 is only supported if you bought a CPU in the AM3/AM3+ class and it looks like the CPU you mentioned fits that bill.

yes the cpu is good for it .
now all i need is memory of 4-4-4-15 for speed on ddr2 about 70.00 to 75.00 for 4 gb this is all i cant use on 32 bits .i am not running a office so i don't need 64 bits wait of time for using 64 bit .
all i do is google and buy on the net .read fotums.lol .
yes i do all my shopping on the net .you find all you need .here if you drive all over then you do not find what you are looking for and the gas cost you more then the shipping charge .there you go .

Okay, firstly good luck finding that ram now adays, gone are those days. Low timings like that are very rare.

However, you can get ddr3 ram which will be faster than the old ddr2 4-4-4-12 ram. Infact, you'd need to get ddr2 667 or maybe 800 just to find that low of timings.
If you really just have to have low timing on ram, you buy 800 5-5-5-14 and under clock to 667 4-4-4-12.

You can get a 4Gig x 2 sticks, but you realize, due to it being dual channel ram setup on the mobo, you'll completely loose the benifits of such low timing.

So basically, you will not notice any difference between 4's at 667 and 5's at 800 or even 7's at 1066 ddr3. Jusy buy some inexpensive 1600 ddr3 7's

The reason ddr3 is not in 4 timings is that when you increase the memory speed, to ensure the stability, you slow loosen the timings. Faster memory easily makes up for not having lower timings.

If the cpu is compatible with your new mobo, then there's no reason you can't use it. However, remember what I said about what type of cpu is required to use ddr3 in your new mobo. I don't know anything about the cpu that you already have.

You also need to check the requirements for your new mobo to see if you can use the memory from your other system.

I'll leave the technical stuff to Patonb.
