Nope. I just bought the CD and installed it. If it helps any, this Vista software is an OEM

    Re: Windows Vista Help

    Thats actually good news.
On the sleeve of the CD (folder that it was in)
You will see a 25 didget, number. It has numbers and letters. After each 5 numbers there is a -. That is your key.

    Ok, Still no problem
Try to put that Zero in as an Oh

I removed your product key number in your post. That must be kept confidental. If someone sees it and uses it before you, it will no longer be valid for you.

    OK
The number was on the sleeve and you are very careful about how you enter the number?
How many 0 and Ohs are there in the number. Ignore OEM (these are all letters)

    Re: Windows Vista Help

    Ok
heres the thing 99% of the time when there is a problem putting in the number. The users gets confused between 0 and OH. I think this is what you are doing.
You cannot make them all OH or all 0. Look very carefully at the number, there is a difference between 0 and OH, make sure that you are putting it in correctly.
    Use a magnifying glass.
Make sure THIS is the sleeve that came with your current Vista.

Nope. Nothing. When clicking on Activate Windows, there's a pop up window that comes up that says "The Windows VistaTM Ultimate Product Key You Typed In Is Invalid For Activation"
