Hello,

When i boot my computer I receive the message:

RunDLL
Error loading C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Temp\serms.dll
The specified module could not be found.

How do i fix this? I've run about 3 different spyware & antivirus, but none of them have detected any issues, and when i followed instructions on how to remove a serms.dll file I couldn't locate any of the files in my registry.

I did find a C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Temp\serms.dll",SHScale in my registry but i have no idea what to do with it.

Any help is much apprecaited!!

Welcome
Can you get into safe mode and run your anti virus?
If negative
Can you get to system restore in safe mode?
If so try to restore to good times.

i ran the antivirus & spyware in safe mode & it didn't find anything other then like 4 tracking cookies. I can get into safe restore no problem, but i don't want to factory restore it because I'll loose my MS Home & Student software :(

I cannot promise you anything, but system restore is not suppose to change your stuff. If the software was installed before the System Restore date there is no problem, but no promises. Anything installed after the system restore date that you choose will be lost.

Before you go there let me know if you want to save your stuff; not software.

The good thing is that whatever the virus tried to do, the cache was cleared from the temp folder which causes the file not to be found when your system boots up. You may want to boot in SAFE mode and then run anti-virus software. Malwarebytes is usually very good about addressing viruses like this.
