Running out of disk space on RECOVERY E

I keep getting this pop up telling me I am running out of disk space on RECOVERY E. When I click on it I get to the window that says to check what I want to remove. The only thing I can choose is Recycle Bin but it has 0 bytes and is says when this is deleted I will recover 0 bytes.
When I click on disk cleanup it does nothing. I am new to computers so I don'tknow if this is going to make my computer crash or what.........HELP!
