hiya i just did a factory restore on my vista pc and when it restarted to do the setup part of the restore my monitor went off and said monitor out of range can anyone help me plz

You will need to go into safe mode, f8 and try setting the resolution back to lowest. It swill be there, but do it anyway.
Rebooting normally should have reset the resolution too 800x640, then just go reset thde res to you max supported resolution.
