Task Scheduler error

Hi,
I have a problem with task scheduler.
I get this error when I go into TS:
"An error has occurred for task Speedfan,
Error: message: The specified account name is invalid."

I wonder if this problem could be caused by:
1) create task
2) change computer name

When you say deleted, do you mean you deleted (uninstalled) SpeedFan or deleted the scheduled task?

Ztruker,
The SpeedFan task is deleted.
The SpeedFan.exe is not deleted.

When I go to TS/Tasks Status
I see that SpeedFan is running.

I checked msconfig/startup
and I do not see SpeedFan there.

And speedfan starts at boot.

There is a SpeedFan task still there somewhere. otherwise you would not be getting the error message.

In start menu check the Startup folder.
