I was working with a person in this thread and wanted to respond again-

http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/303748-runtime-error-217-500a258a-new-post.html

However, for the last week, every time I try to respond, I get the infamous rotating circle continuously. I'm using IE 9. It happens on a Vista system and a Win 7 system.

I couldn't find a place where I could report it to the people who monitor the forum so I'm sorry if I'm wasting space by creating a new thread.

Anybody have an idea why this happens?

I don't really know why it's happening for you but have you tried a different browser just to see if browser specific (IE9)?

I did see a broken image in one of the posts and removed it, can you try responding there as a test to see if that was it?

derekimo- Without thinking about what you said, I tried it successfully in FireFox. I then tried it in IE and it works. Looks like repairing the image did the trick.

Thanks for your help.
