Vista can not boot in either regular or safe mode

I've gotten various errors such as "machine check exception" and "uncorrectable hardware error" and 0X0000009C as well as 0X00000005 and 0X00000124 and others. I tried reseating the ram and cleaned dust from the motherboard and heat sink in case there was any overheating and now I can't even get anything to show up on the monitor at all (and I did check the monitor connections)

Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks !

Not much help in regards to which component it is. If you could see the POST, that would be helpful.
