wow! i would have thought that a velocity micro rig would have been a no brainer at straight 5.9s. hmmm. kinda stange that you got 5.9 in everything except memory. it's not a terrible score by no means, just surprising that you don't have straight 5.9s.

Hi, I am new here and I just installed Windows Vista x64. The Windows Expierience Index is also new to me since I have only used XP.
After installing Vista my base score was only 1.0. Then I updated my graphics card driver and mother board driver and my score jumped to 5.9

It's nice to meet you all and I hope to learn alot here.

You just upgraded those 2 things and the score jumped that high?! I am kind of thinking that you hacked the score (it's possible to)!

its probably because the drivers were not vista drivers or were not installed properly because vista would not read the drivers correctly if that was so

' My Vista64 (SP1 and SP3) scores were: CPU @ 5.9; RAM @ 5.9; Graphs @ 5.9; Gaming Graphs @ 5.5; Hard Disk @ 5.8.
' Currently running equivalent Win7 OS version and scores are: CPU @ 6.5; RAM @ 6.5; Graphs @ 5.9; Gaming Graphs @ 5.4; HDD @ 5.9.
