| Vista Ultimate x64 | Hi, I am new here and I just installed Windows Vista x64. The Windows Expierience Index is also new to me since I have only used XP. After installing Vista my base score was only 1.0. Then I updated my graphics card driver and mother board driver and my score jumped to 5.9  It's nice to meet you all and I hope to learn alot here. |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit | its probably because the drivers were not vista drivers or were not installed properly because vista would not read the drivers correctly if that was so |

' Actually, a google-search on some Vista-related topic brought me here and when I ended up reading some of the threads... Well here I am joined! ;-) ' Right. My Scores. System is added to my profile - so have a lookie if you like... Brief summary: Early 2009 Apple MacBook Pro 17-inch (Unibody) with everything but the HDD maxed-out for the components available at the time (i.e. before the slight speed bump a month ago - AND THE PRICE DROP!). ' My Vista64 (SP1 and SP3) scores were: CPU @ 5.9; RAM @ 5.9; Graphs @ 5.9; Gaming Graphs @ 5.5; Hard Disk @ 5.8. ' Currently running equivalent Win7 OS version and scores are: CPU @ 6.5; RAM @ 6.5; Graphs @ 5.9; Gaming Graphs @ 5.4; HDD @ 5.9. ' There ya have it!
