Re: Window Experience Index Scores

Here's mine

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../Vista/WEI.png

Running on:

Intel Core 2 Extreme Q6850 @ 3.0 Ghz
Asus Blitz Formula
2.0 GB Crucial Ballistix 8500 DDRII
2x 256 MB Radeon 2600 XT in Crossfire
2x 150 GB WD Raptor Raid 0
80GB SATA Maxtor "Storage" HD
(was lying around so didn't see the point in NOT using)
OCZ Game Xstream 850w PSU

Recently added:

Corsair Flash Voyager 2GB for Readyboost

Yes the Graphics hold it back but when I was building the 2900XT was massively more expensive, so I went for the cheaper option of the 2600's. I'm waiting for the 3870x2 to come out (or whatever its going to be called) and then put one (or two!) in instead.

Overall I'm Extremely happy with it (no pun intended!) was a great machine on XP for six months and then installed Vista x64
last week and it appears to be a different beast entirely. Only thing I might do besides the graphics is another 2GB Ram...

Cheers

Andrew

Hi WalksOnPoo!

Sorry, did you try to email me recently?

I've never used a forum before and I received an email from Vistax64.com stating you had left a post for me, however, I was unable to locate it.

Off Topic to "Window Experience Index Scores":

Generally, the notification mails you receive for replies to posts to which you have subscribed will contain a message stating who replied to the post, what the title of the post was, and will also contain the text of the post.

Ther should also be a link that you can click to go right to the first unread post in the thread. If you can use this link, then perhaps you e-mail client has security settings not allowing links to be clicked?
