Vista SP1 caused video problems

I have 2 ATI 3870 HD video cards, and I have 4 monitors running at the same time. Everything was running fine and dandy... life was great. Then vista 64bit SP1 came around, I installed it and immediatly after rebooting from the update, only 2 monitors showed up. I have checked and done all the logical things...
-get new video driver
-try old video driver
-un-install sp1
-check physical connection
none of which helped, the device manager still recognizes the 2 video cards, but on the display settings it only lets me have 2 monitors, same with in the the ati control center... only 2 monitors..

ATI was no help they told me the sp1 caused the problem...

anything? I am about the try a repair, oh and I didn't have system restore on... that is why I haven't done that yet.
