Fallout 3 stutter still there. Back to 186 for me.

Same stutter/rendering problems in fallout 3 and Age of Conan as prev 190.xx drivers. Reverting to 186 drivers!

I'm going back to these Nvidia Forceware 186.39 @laptopvideo2go
Nvidia Forceware 186.39 @laptopvideo2go ( recommended ) - Rage3D Discussion Area

Never had any problems with the 186.* series , especially that driver but these 190.* are well crap.

WARNING
These are from a 3rd party source and not from the official NVIDIA driver website.

the 190.62 seem to just have the new physX which i got on release along with a fix for a missing confirmation popup when changing sli settings on a 7 series card , apart from that the changelog is the same as the last release , which is a shame cos im having a few issues with the 190's bah

suppose you are right, because after setting "windows7 basic" theme the clocks stay normal ... switch back to aero and it starts jumping again...

but then again aero did not cause this with the 186's, so why is it so difficult to get it right in this rev.?
Another thing i don't like about these 190.* drivers in windows 7 are the 2D-3D clock switching , looking at evga precision they go up , down , up , down while in windows 7 using any app! . Not in the 18*.* drivers.

Well, thanks much for the tip... I'll be keeping the 186. drivers I have already.

Well they didn't cure the 59/60hz refresh rate controversy in Win 7, however they did cure something else.
No drivers hitherto have allowed this to happen - now both GPU1 and GPU2 on my GTX295 throttle back to half power when the machine is quiet. With previous drivers only GPU1 did that.

yes theres nothing wrong with them , but have you looked at the changelog? they are no differant to the official release apart from improved open GL support , so unless your developing an open GL app its not really worth the time , thats all im saying

new users use these forums so its worth mentioning when posting up that they are are a dev version they they could be buggy and can as i said be no differant frok the official or latest beta release
