Hi

Having

Yep, as you can see from above post having major problems with computer whilst running NV monitor! Keeps freezing, hanging and now my cut and paste keys aren't working so i'll have to attach the images for people to look at.
1st image shows my NV monitor running but with weird symbols and erratic temp graphs and second one shows the panels whiting out when i put my cursor on them. Also, my cursor Areo spins when placed on them.
I've tried re-installing 3 or 4 times with different nvidia drivers - 169.25 and latest beta - but to no avail plus i've done the paste the missing NV info in WOW64 but that's not worked either. My system seems to stutter now when NV monitor's running, so can anyone help?

Hi Splosher,

A bit more information, please. What are the specs of your machine? If you have SP1 installed, did you have this problem prior to installing SP1? If this problem only started after installing SP1 then you need to check the NVidia website for an updated version of this program.

Hi
Thanks for replying so quickly. Specs are:

Vista Ultimate 64 bit with SP1
Asus P5N32-E SLI NF680i SLI
Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.4
1 x BFG 8800 GTS OC 512mb
4 GB Geil PC3200 DDR2 (4x1024mb)
2 x 80gb Samsung SATA ll drives in RAID 0

Rebuilt the system a couple of weeks ago and have had no problem with NV Monitor at all. I know this because when i run a game, i always have it running on the desktop so i can check my temps when i leave a game due to burning out a previous card - Gainward Golden sample 7800 GTX - so i know it was working up until yesterday sometime with the latest Nvidia 174.74 betas. I have since dropped back to the 169.25 international drivers and reinstalled NV Tune 3 or 4 times but it is still corrupt and just freezes as the screengrabs show.
As a additional pointer, i added to another thread regarding the last Nvidia betas - 169.44's i think - as they wouldn't load at all and claimed i was running a 32bit operating system - http://www.vistax64.com/graphic-cards/139495-latest-nvidia-forceware-drivers.html

Also, have tried doing a system restore but when the computer restarts, it states that the restore was not successful and it couldn't be restored.
