Vista nVidia Drivers!!!

New nVidia drivers for Vista:
This is Version 175.70

Vista x32

This helped my with Fps in games as AoC (age of Conan) and WOW (world of Warcraft), from 15 to 84 Fps some times up to 128 Fps in AOC and from 38 to 60 Fps in WOW.

1) Those are Beta drivers.

2) there are a newer versions: (these are Beta drivers also!!!)

has anyone tried the new 175.80 drivers... any problems.. I usually am not a fan on BETA when it comes to drivers.. let me kno. Thanks!

I tried the 175.70 and did not like them at all - went right back to .16, and the last link I posted has mixed reviews about .80

I am sticking to nVidia WHQL drivers for now. Besides, I am OCing :P

Are these 'official' beta drivers? I suspect not, since I have checked on the NVidia website and the latest driver, beta or final release, is 175.16 WHQL. If I needed to install a beta driver to fix an issue, I would obtain it directly from NVidia. Preferably, I would wait until it has been WHQL certified.

No, they are not *official* beta drivers, meaning they are not from nVidia, AFAICT.

has anyone installed 177.35 (280GTX drivers) with a modded inf file it runs with G92 & bags quite a nice performance boost..??

yes i believe it does.....:D

but you wont net as great an increase as G92

just to confirm ...it will run G80.....

ok update for any one who was interested in this......latest drivers also work with the modded inf file ...now with physiX enabled

Promised since the day Nvidia announced Ageia's acquisition, PhysiX support for GeForce graphics cards is finally here with the new 177.39 driver. This new GeForce release, sourced by the guys @ TweakPC, is dated June 16 and comes with support for the GeForce 9800 GTX, GeForce GTX 260 and 280 graphics cards and the nForce 750a SLI and 780a SLI IGPs. Please note that you'll need the 8.06.12 (or above) PhysX driver installed too.

these also work with G92 but not G80 .....

Hmmm - Now i really need to read up on modding the .inf file to make it work on my G92 based 8800GTS....

For anyone reading this thread, if you want to use the 177.35 nVidia ForceWare drivers on a non 200/240/260/280 card, then grab the appropriate driver and INF file from NVIDIA Forums -> NVIDIA 177.35 and then follow the method in NVIDIA Forums -> NVIDIA 177.35 in order to get it working correctly. When the poster says extracted, you'll need WinRAR to extract the nVidia driver.

I'll try them later tonight or this weekend. I never could get the previous 177.35 to work even with the correctly modified .INF file.
