| ultimate 64 SP1 | Re: Graphics Card Performance and Classification Sapphire is the first distributor to unveil it's final design of the HD4870 X2. Those who liked the all-black design of the previously-seen 4870 X2 will be very disappointed because the new card sports a sticker where red dominates with a Lara Croft-like figure à la Sapphire. This card then loses a part of it's seal with this classic design, but luckily not part of it's performance, with the confirmed clock speeds of 750Mhz on the core, and 3600Mhz for it's 2Gigs of GDDR5 memory, identical to those of the 4870. Power-wise, consumption is equally-reasonable with only 2 connectors; a 6-pin and an 8-pin, which will power the card in it's PCI-E slot. |

| Windows 7 x64 | Re: Graphics Card Performance and Classification That 2GB sounds nice and will give it an edge in games against Nvidia cards. Still sticking with Nvidia though :P |

| Vista Ultimate X64 SP2 | Re: Graphics Card Performance and Classification Hey, I'm doing some gaming on a game called Counter Strike: Source (a game made in 2004). I was wondering if I'd be able to run the game with relatively normal to high settings with a Nvidia quadro NVS 130M. I'm not looking for intense gaming or any thing but i was also wondering if I can play some of the newer games from lets say 2006. (Unfortunately I tend to like older games !?!) Yes- But perhaps medium setting would be better. Class 3 (Nvidia quadro NVS 130M) Low-Midrange Graphics Cards - Lower end of Graphics Cards for users who want to play games. New games should run on these cards, but only with decreased details and mediocre resolution. |
