I am probably paying my Stepup Up tonight- but I currently have only a 67xx 3DMark Vantage score - I sincerely hope I can get 10,000 more with the better card!

and good good Jamull.. you will very much enjoy that bad boy. allthough I wouldn't have paid for the FTW edition. cuz my 260 is the stock one and I'm running above the FTW model anyways.. for much less $$ right now my core is at 680 clock. I wouldn't go over 700 either.

The new ATI 4870 is worth a look at. It benchmarks higher than a 280.

even better than the 4870 ....is 2x 4850s in CF

these produce some serious numbers...for little cost

yes, the 4870. My Micro Center sales rep told me to wait for the 4870 x2. I have a PC Power and Cooling 1000W 1kW-SR power supply on a 20A @ 120V circuit with a 20A 2400W line conditioner. power wise, its not that bad.

the 4870x2 (R700) is gearing to be the best single card solution EVER....

(until the following month...lol)

& the price because its ATI is gonna be great
hope ATIs driver team is hard at work ...this card could be let down in its infancy if their past is anything to go by...
