Re: Photo Gallery and Goofy colors?

Lol good - thanks for the confirmation, but I had *hoped* that my not 2 weeks old monitors were not already degrading (That thought did - *fleetingly* - cross my mind when I looked at the pic the first time and saw all pink and no yellow- I had to read the post twice before it clicked in my head about the profile issue).

Re: Photo Gallery and Goofy colors?

It's confusing. The problem still occurs even after I had installed a new video card and reinstalled my operating systems. Pictures look fine in XP, yellowed/Antiqued in vista. Get's more confusing. If I open a photo in say, Paintshop pro or Microsoft office photo viewer or even nero photo editor, all looks perfect fine and dandy. BUT, with Vistas default photo gallery, terrible. No biggie. Easy fix, I just changed the default viewer to microsoft office, but it bugs me. Not an actual "fix" to the problem, more of a "work around".

Check your color profile - I'll bet those programs that show the pics fine are using their own color profile.

Hey I'm getting the same problem as DesoShade. It appears all yellowish, the pictures I mean. Same as the sample Deso gave. Any idea why it's like that? When I use photoshop it's normal.
