| Ultimate SP1 x64 & x86 | Re: Vista resolution problem, please help. Hi I have only installed the drivers that came with the card and downloaded the lates from the navidia website. Sorry to be vague but am totally out of my depth with this as never had to deal with this. My monitor is a CHIMEI CMV223D. Desktop, 4 Quad Q9300, 8192 Corsair DDR2. Thanx for all your help. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Vista resolution problem, please help. Hi everybody, you would not believe it. Been hunting around for the solution for days now. Have come across this in all sorts of places, people think its the monitor, CHIMEI, others think it is vista and others the nvidia software. Probably a bit of all. THE SOLUTION: Install the latest driver for card, switch off computer, unplug DVI cable and power from monitor, wait a few minutes, switch computer back on and: Your monitor and graphics card is working fine together. This has worked for a lot of people and for me too. Such a frustrating problem with such an easy answer. Hope it will keep working. My monitor has turned up in the device manager again as well now. Thanx for all your help! :-) |
