177.92 drivers slow down PC

Well, I just formatted because of a virus and spyware infection.

Now the PC is ready, but the PC is extremely slow, scrolling through Firefox and Explorer is laggy, when opening a window, it takes 2 minutes before it opens and games run at 7FPS (CoD4).

I think it are the nVIDIA drivers, that PhysX causes the problem (I installed drivers without PhysX, then PhysX itself afterwards). But I don't want to install another driver.

Can someone help me?

Hi Axon...

i run those drivers without issue.... in fact i see nothing but improvement..

im sure these drivers already contain physx.... uninstall physx & the 177s & just reinstall the driver ...see if that helps

Then I get this error:

The system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, run the installation again.

ya the 177.92 drivers already have physx included. you don't get the option to install it. it does it with the driver. So I'd uninstall Physx. and just reinstall .92 and see if that helps.
