Vista - Aero not working properly

It's me again.

Could someone help me with my Windows Aero problem? I've set my appearance style to Windows Aero, and it's worked pretty well, but lately, I've been having some minor problems. The special fading effects of Aero aren't appearing. When I click on "Minimize" on a window, now the window does not "move" or "fade" to the taskbar, it just abruptly disappears to the taskbar. I've always loved the special Aero effects, so can someone help me with this?

PS: How do you add pictures or quotes to a post?

You're welcome, yeah you can. You can use the snipping tool inside Vista to post quick screenshots. Here is a tutorial on it. Just read thru it all to see how to use it.

I know how to use the snipping tool, but I don't know how to actual post them here. Any help on that? And, how do you put quotes into entries? And, how do you give other people rep points?

No problem, just go to the yellow post reply button or new thread when you post and have your screenshot saved as a jpeg. Click on the paperclip at the top of your reply box next to the smiley face and the page manage your attachments will come up. Browse for your screenshot in your pictures or wherever you saved it and pick the the screenshot and click upload. Then you can exit out of that manage your attachments window and go back to the little arrow next to the paperclip. Click on your screenshot and it will go into your post. It will look like my fourth screenshot, you can then preview your post before you send it to see what it will look like.

The other questions...?

To put quotes on something you wrote just select what you wrote so it's all blue and click on the wrap quote tags and it will put it in a quote box. then you can preview it to see what it will look like.







To multi quote peoples posts just click the multi button on each persons post and it will turn yellow, then click the quote button of the last post.



To rep somebody, just click on their scales icon at the top of their post and check "approve" and write a reason for rep and click Add to reputation.
