| ultimate 64 SP1 | Re: Which is a better one? the 4890 has the performance edge by quite far compared with the GTX260, but Nvidia build quality & cooling capability far exceeds that from the ATI camp.... a lot off ppl will go for the performance regardless, but many suffer high temps & poor build quality...even faliure. if your gonna go ATI make sure its XFX..... SKI will acknowledge that shody cooling is plaguing "Both" card companies. As for ATI's build quality, I have to disagree with you there. I've been with ATI since 1999-2000 and have only had one card crap out on me (3870). As to the XFX version of the 4890, that's the one I have and so far no issues. |
