graphics [CSS]

HI ive been havin some problems with my new xfx hd4850 i thought i would be able to run css very smooth with alot of people and on big maps but its not its jaggy and i get low fps

i have a
ASUS M2N-MX SE mobo
athlon 64x2 dual proc 5000+ 2.6
xfx HD4850 512mb
vista 32bit
2GB EL DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz ram

i thought i would be gettin like 300+ on the video stress test but i get only 180 and lower it doesnt run smooth either like i thought it would anybody know or have any sugesstions

hm....... i have the same processor..... and that is prolly were your problem is...... the card is prolly fine but your cpu is prolly bottlenecking it....... and you memory might be also

Hello frankdatank,
Your pc should play this game, have you tried to update your drivers ?, graphics and sound drivers may help.

Is it the same on all servers, i play CCS and i know some servers are a lot better than others, play around with your ingame graphic settings and see if that helps.

I have enclosed the game specs from Steam, as you can see your system is, or should be ok.

im using the new drivers for ati
yea all my stuff is updated .

for my css settings ther al high and in the CCC i set it to defaults ..
idk why its coulb be so jaggy in some servers i scrim and in their it looks fine but in servers that have 20 people i start to see the jaggy or in big maps

o i had a 7600 gt
