Fsb

hi all ...i have 2 computers and i want to know which one I should put my better video card in and weather i should upgrade one...if i do upgrade will a amd board with 400 mhz FSB and a dual core processor with 2gigs ram be faster than a computer with 800mhz FSB 1gig ram and a pentium 4

by the way the amd board is a msi n1996...i think...those are the biggest letters/numbers on the board

btw i would love to know the name of the amd mother board

although it is not hooked up now

Re: Fsb

P4/800mhz. But its better to buy a new PC. Average laptops have a 1066mhz FSB like the one in my system specs and for a desktop 1333mhz without even getting into i7. The FSB correlates with the RAM, but a board with a P4 might work. The performance wouldn't be too good anyway. What graphics card do you want to put in?
