The 6+2 just means that you can either use that plug as a 6 pin or an 8 pin. The +2 are just two pins that can 'disconnect' from the rest of the plug.

oh yeah! i saw that +2. just thought that it was fixed.
i also thought i would have to go even more over my budget!
