Need A New Graphics Card

I play games a good bit on my PC (HP Pavilion Dv4). I was just wondering, what would be a good graphics card for my computer. I wanted something Nvidia, but I don't know what kind to get. Any suggestions?

Re: Need A New Graphics Card

first of all, if you got a good budget, i would get the Nvidia 275 - 295, depending on your budget.
£150 to £200 for gtx 275
£250 for the gtx 280
£250 to £300 for the 285
£250 to £300 for the 295

this is an english shipping company.
if you live in america, please tell me.

Dom

EDIT: yes listen to pizzaman. only if you have 500watt or more psu you will be able to run these cards.

Re: Need A New Graphics Card

sorry mate you can't change the graphics on a laptop, there is no room and your motherboard will not have the correct socket - - PCI Express x16 slot is only on desktop motherboards.

sorry to let you down,

someone might put my quote into simple terms...

laptop graphics cannot be changed. there is no slot on the motherboard that supports any of the good cards out there. you probably have integrated graphics.
still you can build your own look at this website.
