| ultimate 64 SP1 | Re: Is this a good furmark score? as stated above........dont buy a C2D, get a Quad. more & more is being coded for multicores everyday, the dual core has served us well but were on the Virge of 4 cores being standard practice for average performance... yes a C2D will clock higher than a Quad, but the extra 2 cores far outweigh the extra few hundred mhz you'll get.. here's my furmark score with my old CPU...  i'll run the settings you used & post back  |
